Ask Hytrol: How to Adjust the Drive Pressure on an LRC Conveyor

Ask Hytrol is our monthly video series focused on specific topics to help you maintain your conveyor system and learn about new technology. In this video, you will learn how to adjust the drive pressure on an LRC conveyor.

Start by loosening the outside bolt on the drive sheave. Doing so will cause the roller directly above the sheave to stop turning.

Next, raise the drive sheave up until the v-belt fully engages the rollers and tighten the bolt back in place.

Please note that raising the drive sheave too high will create an inefficient use of horsepower.
