Ask Hytrol: How to Enter CPU Shipping Information in HEROES/HyCAD

Ask Hytrol is our monthly video series focused on specific topics to help you maintain your conveyor system and learn about new technology. In this video, you will learn how to enter CPU shipping information in HEROES/HyCAD.

 Many customers now have all of their shipping go through a Third Party Logistics Company for discounted freight rates. We call this shipping method “CPU.” To enter the information in HEROES for a CPU shipment, first enter the “Ship To” information. Then, select the “Ship Via” using the dropdown box. Scroll down to your selection.

Once you select “CPU,” you will notice 3 new lines appear directly under the “Ship via account” line. Fill in the lines with the correct information, and doublecheck to make sure all information is correct.

Please check that the third party billing lines correctly reflect the proper terms for the freight bill. When this is correct, you’ve successfully completed entering the CPU shipping information.
