Ask Hytrol: How to Adjust the ProSort MRT 90˚ Divert Bank

Ask Hytrol is our monthly video series focused on specific topics to help you maintain your conveyor system and learn about new technology. In this video, you will learn how to adjust the ProSort MRT 90˚ divert bank.

 Following proper lock out/tag out procedures, start by loosening the 3/8 inch bolts holding the cylinder-mounting channel directly below the divert bank. Next, loosen the two jam nuts connected to the cylinder-mounting channel.

To adjust the height of the divert bank, simply turn the nut clockwise to raise or counterclockwise to lower the divert bank. Repeat this process on the opposite side of the unit. Please note that the divert bank is preconfigured to a standard height of 1/4 inch from the top of the channel.

Once the divert bank is correctly adjusted, tighten the jam nuts and 3/8” inch bolts back in to place.
