About Marina Bayardo
I was born in California, but I grew up in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I came back to the United States a few years later. My hobbies are taekwondo and reading. I also like to travel and have fun with my friends on weekends. I don’t have children, but I have two lovely dogs, Rambo and Nitro, that I treat like my babies.
What excites you about working for Hytrol?
The opportunity to apply my electrical engineering knowledge to help Hytrol and its customers be more efficient. I also appreciate the occasions where I can speak Spanish with our international customers.
What are your current responsibilities?
I’m helping with the development and testing for the new E24+™ product, as well as the new electric switches for sorters. While I’m still in training for ProLogix®, I also provide support for the electrical panel shop at Hytrol.
What do you love about your job?
I love having the ability to work with PLC for ProLogix® and EZLogic®. I also enjoy working on new challenges to meet the different needs of our customers. Being able to travel around the world working on startups for Prologix® has been worthwhile too. By doing this, it has helped me grow because I can see new technology or new ideas in action at other facilities that we could potenially implement for our customers.
What do you find most challenging in your position?
Finding the best solution to solve a customer’s issue can prove difficult but rewarding.
Complete this statement: When I think of Hytrol, I think of opportunities.
What goals do you hope to achieve at Hytrol?
Continue growing my skillsets and knowledge as a controls engineer with professional development and hands-on experiences.
